Growing up with three sisters was a joyous experience filled with simple backyard fun, Barbie dolls, and playing with neighborhood friends. We were always surrounded by adorable kittens as we constantly persuaded our parents to let us keep at least one from each litter!

As I transitioned from childhood to adulthood, I married my husband Jeff of 40 years and we were blessed with two beautiful daughters who brought immense joy into our lives, and we embraced all of their adventures through childhood and beyond.

However, my greatest joy came when I became a grandma. Witnessing my grandchildren’s growth and development has been an endless source of happiness and my greatest gift. I cherish every moment spent with them, and it was during these precious times that my passion for storytelling was ignited. As I told them bedtime stories, the character of Mrs. Brickleberry came to life as I created countless adventures for her, in order to help my grandchildren fall asleep.
